The biggest problem is poor quality or counterfeit chargers.
They often:
- They don’t have overvoltage protection
- They don’t regulate the electricity properly.
- I’m using bad components.
The result?
Overheating, damage to the battery, and even melting of the outlet.
High-quality, certified chargers have built-in protection mechanisms that prevent these situations — and therefore are not a luxury, but a minimum of safety.
