She thought she was expecting seven babies; an eighth was born.

“Did you know that?” I asked him.

“No. I just… sensed something. When I said ‘wait,’ I didn’t know what was there. I just realized we had missed something.”

Then he added:

“Sometimes the most important thing is precisely what isn’t visible on a screen. What cannot be measured, counted, or predicted. What simply exists.”

He pointed to the incubators.

“You’ve given the world eight miracles. But the eighth one is special. He appeared where no one expected him.”

The moment my world began anew
I looked at my eighth child again.

As I watched him, I thought of everything we had just been through: the months of fear, the sleepless nights, the pain, and the uncertainty.

Seven children had already come into the world. Everyone thought the story ended there.

But with this eighth cry, everything began all over again.
