Although public curiosity about his relationships continues, O’Neal has also shown that he is willing to respond to dating speculation with humor.
The Takeaway
The viral Spain headline may sound dramatic, but the available reporting does not support presenting the yacht photographs as proof that Shaquille O’Neal was vacationing with a 22-year-old girlfriend.
The images appear to be several years old, and the woman’s age and relationship with O’Neal remain unconfirmed.
In the age of viral celebrity news, a sensational headline can travel much faster than the facts. Shaq’s story is a reminder to check the context before turning social media speculation into a claim about someone’s private life.
